Told you I'd be back later this week with a new Twisted Sketch. This week the twist was envelope, any way any how. I used a photo of myself from 1st grade.
We went to NYC back in April and I had a chance to visit my aunt. Of course I had to go through her photo albums for pics of my dad. I found some really great one too. But I also came across this photo of me. No one else in the family has this photo and she had 2.
I used my Swirlydoos August kit to create this layout. I also did some masking and tried using molding paste for the first time. I just had a lot of fun creating this layout. Like most of my layouts this one is untitled.
I must apologize for the bad picture. My background paper curled from the misting and I couldn't get it uncurled. So there you have it, Twisted Sketch 123. Stop by check out the sketch and play along with us.
I haven't forgotten about the good news I promised. It's coming later this week.
Aww looky at Kimmy..so cute:) And trust to be shy looking-HA! Need I say it again? Have you created at least ONE messed up LO ever?! UGH..I love it! And you did a great job masking. Don'tcha just love it when your paper curls from misting *sarcastic grin of one who knows all too well* Trick: Take a couple of sizeable heavy weight items like a jar of buttons or even canned goods and once your mist has dried to the point that the weighted item won't leave a mark on your LO..placed the weighted items on all four points of your LO (before adding your embellishment). This usually works for me, I've only once needed to add weight to the center of the LO (overmist much??) LOL Hope this helps.
