7 Dots Monthly Challenge

Hey all, just dropping in to share my entry for this months 7 Dots Apr-May Challenge. The theme this month was In Motion.  Here is their inspirational circle.

 I knew what i wanted to use, I just had to find the photo. A few years ago, I taught my niece how to hoola hoop. I even managed to get a picture of her when she finally got it. So this was the perfect fit for "in motion".

Here is my entry. I love that I got a chance to use blues. I rarely get to use that color, so I just ran with it. 

I started out by using the 9th Wave collection. Then I  used a lot of mixed media on this layout. I used embossing paste, gesso, color bloom sprays, art stones, glitter glass ams mini art stones. Plus there are several layers of stamping.

I mixed a few of my scrap chipboard pieces with some whole pieces. I love that circle frame from Creative Embellishments. I cut some of the center out, so I still have a smaller circle to use later. 

This was just a fun layout to create.
