We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!

My first layout is based on this months sketch. Here is the sketch:

This layout is of my youngest niece. She and her sister recently spent the weekend with us and we had an impromptu photo session. It was raining so i could only get a few photos, but was very happy with the ones i did get.

I used the main kit, along with the flower and cardstock add-on. I incorporated the die of the month and a piece of chipboard from my stash that was purchased from the Swirlydoos store.

Here is my layout:

Next is another layout featuring my other gorgeous niece. Again I used the main kit along with the flower and embellishment add-ons. The doilies are from my stash.

In the main kit there is a beautiful "OTP" item. It's a beautiful fan on it's own, but boy did I have fun altering it.

The project kit contained a 6x6 mini album. I did the cover and sides and did a few inside pages.

I had so much fun doing the cover, sides and inside pages. I used lots of flowers and items from previous kits and some items from my stash to take the album to the next level.

My pages turned out pretty chunky, so I'm going to have to take a few pages out to finish it. Mini albums really aren't my thing, so this is really taking me out of my comfort zone, but i'm enjoying the process. I'm learning to relax and just let go.

We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !! Here are my projects.

First up is what I call my palette cleanser. It's my version of a simpler layout. Not too much of this or that. I used an old family photo I swiped borrowed from my dh.

I used items from the main kit as well as the embellishment, mixed media and flower add-ons.

My next layout is based off of the monthly sketch challenge. Here is the February sketch.

Here is my layout. I rotated the sketch and then it kind of took on a life of it's own. You know how that can happen sometimes. I used a few extra items from my stash (purchased from the Swirlydoos store) because this is a special layout tht's going to be a gift. This is my brother and his wife. this is the only photo from the day they got married in 1995.

I'll be sending them this layout framed as a nice little surprise.

This layout is of dh and I. The papers were perfect for it. I the mixed media add-on for the background. Lots of flowers from the flower add-on.

Next up are 2 "OTP" projects. The first is the wood "LOVE" frame from the project kit add-on. this was so much fun to do. The project kit comes with lots of goodies, but to take it to the next level, you need to pull some things from your stash.

I used the white paint that came in the kit to paint it and inked the edges with gray chalk ink. Then went to work on the chippie pieces also included, they were heat embossed.

I used lots of embossing powder and just randomly swiped my embossing pad on the frame and sprinkled the embossing powder on and heat set it.It's hard to see, but there is also some white crackle randomly spread on the frame as well.

I used gold embossing paste in the music stencil from the mixed media kit. That stencil is going to get a workout from me, it's a must have!!

The pink flowers, leaves and butterfly are from my stash. So is the pink ribbon.

Lastly, this frame is included in the main kit. That's right, this month there is an OTP project right in the main kit.

My frame is going to be a wedding gift, so I kept it simple for a couple of reason. Mainly, because the bride likes simple. Second, because she is still back and forth on the wedding colors. I just painted the frame using the paint from the project add-on. Used this months die of the month to cut the frame and added some bling and flowers.

My first layout is this months "Anatomy of a layout." It was created using only the Swirlydoos main kit. I have a step by step tutorial showing you how I created the layout. You can view the tutorial here.

Next up is my layout based on the sketch of the month. Here is this months gorgeous sketch.

Here is my layout. I used those gorgeous ornaments from the specialty paper as my layers. I fussy cut them out. I thought it was a fun twist on the sketch. I hate that the masking doesn't show up. I have some sparkly music notes masking in the background on this one.

Lastly, is a nice winter page. I love the blues in this kit. They go nicely with winter themed photos. This page sparkles so much in real life

Here is my layout. I used items from the main kit as well as the embellishment and mixed media add-ons. I added a few things from my stash.

Next up are a couple more layouts. I used the white crackle on the lamp post wood piece, then added color to it. It has really nice texture to it. I did the same to the chipboard piece.

On this last layout for the background, I used the entire mixed media kit. I used the stencil with the white crackle paste, the I sprinkled the page with the opal gold mica powder and misted with water. Once dried, I used the blue russet mica powder from the kit. Misted it with water an dried. I love how it turned out.

Last, I have an art journal I created using the project add-on kit. I used the oil pastels to color the cover. I have a video on how I created it.
