Prima October BAP

Today I am just reposing my layout for the October Prima BAP. This layout was created using Swirlydoos October monthly kit. This kit featured the gorgeous Epiphany line by Prima. I loved working with this paper, flowers and embellishments. I also used some of the Prima chalkboard paint on the chipboard piece. i am in love with this stuff. Color blooms, micro beads and stamps rounded out all the Prima products I used in creating this layout.

It went so well with the photos of dh and I from our trip to Europe this year. I swear, I'll be scrapping these photos forever.

Thanks for stopping by.

More *Treasured Yesterdays* layouts with Swirlydoos

I'm back to share some more layouts I created with this months kit *Treasured Yesterday*. This kit was so much fun to create with, between the Prima Epiphany and Blue Fern papers down to the embellishments and mixed media. I just couldn't stop creating.

Next up are more layouts using photos from my European vacation this year. I had a lot of fun doing this layout and went a little heavy on the mixed media.I used elements from the main, flower, embellishment and mixed media kits. The black chalkboard paint in the mixed media kit is AH-MAZING!! I just love it. I added a few pieces from my stash (film strip tape, washi tape and chipboard).

My next layout uses the Blue Fern paper. I just love this line, the paper is so yummy! I did just a bit of stenciling on the background. I used the pretty blue modeling creme from the mixed media kit. How about that heart doily, isn't it just perfect. It's from the embellishment kit, so is the blue corrugated paper. I so love that lace. This photo is still part of my European vacation collection.

My last layout to share is another layout created using the Epiphany line. There are tons of layers going on here. Plus lots of mixed media. I did some stenciling, stamping and misting. I know I've said this already, but this kit was so amazing it was just hard not to get carried away.

This layout also has elements from all the kits. The circle chipboard and stamps are from my stash. I painted the circle with the chalkboard paint. The kit also included some micro beads. I added a bit of gloss gel medium randomly on the page and adhered the micro beads. The photo is dh and I outside of the Louvre.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layouts created with the *Treasured Yesterdays* kit.

More *Vintage Love* with Swirlydoos and Prima BAP

Hey my scrappy peeps, today i'm sharing another layout I did with the Vintage Love kit. This kit has been perfect to showcase the photos I took on our European trip earlier this year. If you have some travel photos waiting to be scrapped, I suggest using this kit.

I used one of the "selfies" that dh and I took on our trip. We took one everyday and tried our best to get some type of landmark in the background. This particular one doesn't have a landmark, but was taken while we were riding the city bus in Paris.

I used the main kit plus elements from the flower, mixed media and technique add ons. Aren't those little cork hearts from the main kit adorable. I wanted to stick them all over this page.

I used the molds in the technique kit to make the key, lock and the clock that is tucked into my flower cluster. I love the mod molds that come in the kit. You can get yours here

I did a bit of masking, I thought the circles went well with the jumbo polka dots in my scarf. LOL! I also added lots of clear gesso, stamping and mists. Then at the end, did some highlighting with pan pastels. I have really been loving the effects I get with them lately.

I added a few things from my stash, like the crochet doily and a few pieces of metal. There were plenty of embellishments in this kit without using my stash, but I just couldn't help my self. You know, stop hoarding and start using. LOL!!

I can't believe I am saying this, but I even added journaling to the back of the tag on the left. The tags in this kit make it easy to incorporate it into the design. That has always been my problem with journaling, figuring out where to put it. Alas no more, with these tags. I can actually document (in writing) about our wonderful trip.

This layout is also based on the Prima BAP. It was a great sketch for the month of September. I really enjoyed working with it.
